A Pharmaceutical retail operation at Fayetteville, NC seeking a qualified candidate for the position of IS/IT System & Programmer Analyst who will be responsible to provide analytical support, write and develop applications and specifications to effectively maintain, enhance and develop computing/IS & IT systems needs consistent with company’s goal of maximizing operational efficiency, reducing cost and ensuring business growth.

Education, Knowledge & Skills Sets

Need Bachelor in Computer Science/Information System or the equivalent, sound knowledge of operating system analysis and design, Operating System DBMS Design, Database System, Communication & Computer Networking, Object-Oriented Programming + quantitative knowledge of Statistical Methods & Marketing. A supplemental bachelor’s degree in BA/quantitative discipline or related experience in the retail pharmaceutical setting is a plus. Position’s Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

System analysis, development, and implementation -ascertaining system requirements to develop promote, expand and upgrade the system using knowledge of system analysis, modeling, and design to business problem solving relating to computer applications, operational procedures, and data processing problems and improving workflow using UML, USE CASE, VISIO

Applications development relating to accounting, purchasing, sales, and financial statement and business records using techniques of structured analysis, data modeling, sampling, and cost accounting using programming languages: Visual Basic, Dot Net Framework 4.5; Database Server MySQL, POstGRE, SQL, Server, MS Access; Database Query Language SQL, T-SQL.

Analyzing and implementing company’s requirements for designing, upgrading developing, and maintaining company’s website aimed at providing diversified ecommerce marketing services through the internet, including developing strategies for internet sales and marketing of company’s pharmaceutical products and clinical services considering financial feasibility, system development, and cost analysis using Programming Language: ASP. Net, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML/DHTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, Database Server: MySQL, Postgres.

Developing assessment of financial cost/benefit analysis and feasibility of pharmacy software changes and make appropriate recommendations of the best alternatives in areas, such as management of Document, Records, Prescription, Appointment, Contact, Inventory, Point of Sale, Billing & Invoicing & Expense Statements

Developing & Executing test plans and test cases that comprehensively test software changes

Setting up networking, installation, configuration of server and also automatic Electronic claim processing including design and implementation of “HIPPA” complain reports and HITECH requirements to ensure security mechanisms & confidentiality of patient’s information and data integrity 10%

Candidate must have ability to analyze and synthesize financial, accounting, and business operational data/information to effectively develop business applications, recommend requirements of computing, IS/IT system and applications development and operational procedure changes, enhancements, development of functional specifications or interface opportunities, software changes evaluating costs and or return on investment (ROI) analysis.

The candidate is required to have strong quantitative and business knowledge to develop a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy business process and practices about all aspects of pharmacy retail operations and clinical services to identify and assess ongoing application development needs, IS/IT and computing needs to effectively recommend and adopt appropriate technology solutions aimed at improving company’s workflow, business operational practices & revenues.

Require to coordinate and interact with cross-disciplinary professionals, including a clinical pharmacist, management, technology vendors, wholesale distributors, reimbursement authorities, and accreditation agencies to effectively identify the company’s business process for assessing system design & development needs. Require strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
